This policy explains, in plain language, what personal information Café Restaurant Moussa ("Chez Moussa", "we") collects when you make a reservation or contact us, and how we use it. Our website is a simple brochure site — there are no accounts, no advertising trackers, and no sale of personal data.

1. What we collect, and why

When you send us a booking request, you share it with us directly — most often through WhatsApp, and sometimes by phone call or SMS. Typically this includes:

Your name — to identify your booking.
Your phone number — to confirm, change or cancel the reservation.
Booking details — date, time, number of guests (or participants for a cooking class), seating preference (indoor lobby or terrace), and any special requests or dietary notes you choose to add.
Language preference — the language you chose on our website is remembered in your own browser (localStorage) so the site stays in your language on your next visit. This never leaves your device.

We use this information only to handle your reservation and serve you during your visit. We do not use it for marketing lists and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes.

2. WhatsApp and Meta

Reservation messages are sent through WhatsApp, operated by Meta Platforms. When you message us, your information is transmitted and stored by Meta under the WhatsApp Privacy Policy, which we encourage you to read. Once we receive your message, the conversation is handled by our on-ground team in Aït Benhaddou.

3. How long we keep your information

Booking conversations are kept only as long as needed to manage your reservation and day-to-day service (for example, group coordination). We do not build customer databases for resale or profiling, and old booking chats are deleted in the ordinary course of business.

4. Embedded content from other platforms

Some pages show content hosted by third parties — for example Instagram photos of the restaurant, a Google Maps location, review information from TripAdvisor, or video players. Loading this content means your browser connects to those platforms, and their own privacy policies apply to what they collect.

5. Payments

We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard, CMI, JCB and mobile NFC payments at the restaurant. Our website never processes or stores card numbers.

6. Your choices

You can ask us at any time to confirm, correct or delete the booking information we hold about you — simply message us on WhatsApp at +212 703-876297 or email contact@yourdomain.com. You can also clear your saved language preference at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
